Education Forum

VLSI Design 2011 invites students and teachers to participate in the 2nd Annual Education Forum. The intent of this forum is to provide faculty and students working in the field of VLSI an opportunity to learn about new research areas, present their work and participate in discussions. The registrants would get a certificate of participation from the forum.

Program

• Panel Discussion on VLSI Education:
  • Venkatraman Balakrishnan, Purdue University
  • Rajesh Gupta, University of California, San Diego
  • SS Mahant-Shetti, KarMic, Manipal, India
• Poster Session:
  Research scholars who are in their final year of MS/Ph.D. program or who have
  submitted their thesis recently are invited to present their research work as posters. You will be asked for relevant information in the registration page linked below.
• Design Contest Presentations:
  Winners from the VLSI 2011 design contest will present their work as a part of this forum
• CUDA Workshop:
  Engineers from NVIDIA will introduce the GPGPU architecture and the CUDA programming framework. This will be followed by a hands-on session for a select group of participants.
